Hunting and Gathering

I am going to spend my long cold winter planning for Spring.   I am hunting the Internet for idea's.  I'm gathering them all in my little brain and then I am going to try to make them work come Spring!

I have a plan for my side yard that incorporates my chickens and my girl fort bunkie.
In between the two I think I will grow a garden like the one above.   A little kitchen garden and pea gravel pathways.  In the center the 3 tiered fountain.  Visions are dancing thru my head and I don't think they are in the too hard file.  My little covered porch off the fort will overlook my little garden. Perfect for a lovely summer day of relaxing. A place where neighbors and friends could stop by and pick from the garden and take a few eggs home.
I think I have it worked out.... hurry Spring!

Sprinkle a little of this on your dinner table

Enjoy these fabulous dinner settings.... I think as a breakfast table your day could never go wrong at any of these, although I do have my favorites!

Shopping the Open Air MarketPlace

Working on getting some goods for my next project.  I just love shopping at the  Open Air MarketPlace.  Things are incredibly cheap there and I always find a treasure or two.
It's been a productive week!

Open Air MarketPlace aka- dump the junk.

Just a pickin' and a grinin'!

solving the problems of the world,,,,,simple really

Here is my take on how to get our country back on track-
From the poor to the very rich we have a problem with greed, entitlement, fraud or whatever you want to call it. Until humanity gets their moral compass righted things will not change. I do not mean more religion, because I believe that creates other conflicts as well. But just plain ethics, knowing right from wrong and general behaving. Once this is in place all aspects of fraud will diminish. There is nothing wrong with making an honest living, collecting assistance, or even becoming filthy rich if it is done the right way. Those of us who are trying to do the right thing are getting hammered from all angles from supporting welfare fraud to the fallout of corporate greed and the nonsense of how our government has been running and people are getting sick and tired of it. From every social economic level this takes place and it's time to get some common sense into the mix and the greed, fraud and entitlement out. Behave- It's that simple

I need more of these days

Spot

Fun Day!  I told myself a few weeks ago that I have to get out more and do the things that bring me joy.  The things that I long to do, and not by surfing on the computer.  I need to see touch, see, feel, walk through all the stuff that I crave to see.  On my list for awhile has been to head up I75 and visit a quirky little store I saw on the Internet called Leon and LuLu's in Clawson.  A glimpse of a few photos and I knew I had to get myself up there.  An old roller rink filled to the brim with awesome stuff!  A must see!  If it were closer to home, I would beg them to give me a job. Hey- I would even work for free if I could just hang out there.  Idea's and cool stuff that make your head spin.  I want each and every little thing in my house.  The sofas, lamps, accessories to die for.  I want to wear the unusual clothing, slip the awesome felted slippers on my feet, read the funny assortment of books, pet Spot the dog and give him a treat from the treat bowl. Which by the way  he has convinced every shopper to give him,  he really works the crowd! :)  I could vacation here, if they just had a beach!- it's about the only thing they don't have. I'm making plans to go back, soon, real soon!
